We, the Hanseatische Waren Handelsgesellschaft, are a family business from Bremen, now in its fourth generation. As a team, we pull together and want to achieve a lot together.
We are a distributor and manufacturer of high-quality semi-finished and finished titanium parts and other alloys. We are one of the leading suppliers of titanium in Germany and internationally. We develop, manufacture, test and supply innovative products that are used in the aviation and automotive sectors, among others. Our forged engine parts make us a leader on the international market. Our products can also be found in the medical and ultrasound technology sectors.
With our Plasma Metall brand, you will find the latest melting technology for non-ferrous metals for melting alloys. Additive manufacturing (powder production / 3D printing) will also play an important role in our future orientation.
We are looking for you to join Plasma Metall at the earliest possible date, on a full-time, permanent basis.
These are your tasks:
- Setting, operating and monitoring our dosing and melting system for the production of semi-finished titanium and nickel products
- Adjusting, converting and setting up production systems
- Documentation of activities and results for quality control
- Maintenance and repair work
- Labeling, delivery, cleaning and documentation work
- Compliance with all (safety) guidelines
- Recognizing and reporting deviations
- Active participation in the continuous improvement process
- Ensuring compliance with order, cleanliness and occupational health and safety
- Flexible use
What you should bring with you
- Completed vocational training, preferably as a mechatronics technician, electrician, production specialist or similar
- Completed basic training or several years of professional experience (quality inspection, machine operator, etc.)
- First professional experience in production / smelting / foundry or in a comparable manual activity
- Experience in operating industrial production machines
- Ability to operate industrial trucks
- First professional experience in industry, ideally as a machine operator in industrial operations is an advantage
- Independent, reliable and accurate way of working
- Very good written and spoken German
