With our Plasma Metall brand, you will find the latest melting technology for non-ferrous metals for melting alloys. Additive manufacturing (powder production / 3D printing) will also play an important role in our future orientation. We are looking for you to join Plasma Metall on a full-time and permanent basis.

We, the Hanseatische Waren Handelsgesellschaft, are a family business from Bremen, now in its fourth generation. As a team, we pull together and want to achieve a lot together. We are traders and manufacturers of high-quality semi-finished and finished titanium parts and other alloys. We are one of the leading suppliers of titanium in Germany and internationally. These are your tasks

  • Implementation and control of continuous process optimization in the area of melting non-ferrous metals (e.g. titanium, nickel)
  • Analyzing current production processes and designing improvement measures with the aim of significantly improving quality and reducing costs
  • Carrying out process evaluations and assessments based on key figures
  • Support in setting up an extended quality assurance system
  • Carrying out analytical tasks in the field of chemical and metallographic analysis
  • Taking over (partial) project management for the technical introduction of new products
  • Preparation and participation in publicly funded programs

What you should bring with you

  • Completed engineering studies (FH/TU) in the field of production technology, process engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgy or comparable training as a technician
  • Specialist knowledge of the material titanium/nickel is desirable - ideally experience in the field of melting technology and additive manufacturing
  • Strong analytical thinking skills as well as an independent, structured and methodical way of working
  • Solution orientation paired with very good communication skills at all levels
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • The job is suitable for both experienced professionals and career starters
